Chelsea was quieter than usual and the show gardens not particularly special, apart from the Japanese moss garden (seen with its water window) and several of the tiny gardens hidden beyond the picnic area (see Le Jardin de Van Gogh above). But it's been the most perfect spring this year that most people can remember and the country's gardens are blooming early and spectacularly

Chelsea Flower Show 2007

I see you in that window, Herry! I love those kind of shots.
ReplyDeleteHello, You don't know me and I don't know you, but I run across your blog while searching the web for ideas for my lawn that has become nothing but moss. On your blog you had a picture of a wall covered in moss and I fell in love with it. I am curious to know if you painted that and if you painted any of those paintings you have on your website? As I scrolled through your blog website I found that I loved everything in it from the paintings/photo's to the poem credited to Mother Theresa. I assumed that it had to be a woman's website and was quite surprised to find that I was totally wrong. I just wanted to let you know I was quite impressed and to thank you for an hour of pleasure (that you didn't even get to enjoy). Thanks and yes I still respect you...LOL. Sincerely, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you Diana. I respect you too!
