Favourite Places
A new one - St Emilion. No wonder it's a World Heritage Site
And every lovely spot needs a lovely hotel - and this has one of the best - the Hostellerie de Plaisance, at the base of the tower on top of St Emilion
Indisputably a small hotel of extreme excellence in every field. Glad you chose that one. I'll be there with Lucie soon; but can only afford lunch. It gets very 'spenny' in the evening! Charlie
It's disastrous in the evening! You remember the night I did the place names; came back and Ayako hadn't had any supper so I went down and ordered two lobster salads....they were delicious but arrgh! :-)
